S&F Rating/Quality Index The S&F Rating system is a 'Quality Index' designed to measure and rate the overall value of the domain across a wide spectrum of variants - from experience to data, history to market conditions. It also serves as a public utility for verification and authenticity all certified S&F Reports. The ratings serve for the establishment of recognizable ‘classes’ beyond mere categories as well as a simplified system of COMPARABLES on which value can be easily and quickly be quantified before distinct valuation. Each domain appraised is rated on a five-star, six (6) level scale by all three (3) assigned appraisers - the median average is then the S&F Rating. All S&F Reports include an official S&F Rating Seal (jpeg format, 200x200) displaying the final rating = mean average of three (3) appraisers. Seal may be used online in regards to the domain name rated. Each/any seal displayed online MUST be linked to a VERIFICATION URL (provided with appraisal and seal) which, when clicked, will verify the AUTHENTICITY of the report and rating on domainconsultant.com. This is a graphical representation of variables and considerations that may go into rating a domain.
The S&F Rating System is an overall QUALITY metric whereby appraisers are asked to consider and rate, collectively, all factors in the Valuation Grid, Variables, proprietary data, experience to formulate a measure based in a ‘five-star’, six (6) level system. Appraisers are additionally asked to consider its overall value to END-USER buyer pools, both in scope and scale - a consideration not accounted for in the SMV. Each domain is rated on a scale of one to five - with two (2) one-star ratings for the lower levels.
