    welcome to domain consulting
    Panelist/Appraiser Qualifications
Domain Consultant is a collective of domainers who continue to strive in the domain business. We are proven leaders who have bought and sold millions of dollars worth of domains dating all the way back to the early 1990's. It is also a very exclusive, elite club where membership is earned not given, bought or won.

To protect our consultants and appraisers as well as to discourage any outside, third-party influence on appraisals and consultations, the identities of all S&F Appraisers is kept strictly confidential on the appraisals - appraisers are identified by number.

Each candidate undergoes four (4) stages:

    1. Qualification/eligibility verification
    2. Panel Referendum
    3. S&F Appraiser certification by Frank Schilling
    4. Must agree to appraiser pratice and ethics code set forth by the ASA plus certain codes of the USPAP, primarily the ETHICS CONTROLS

    1. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All prospective candidate must satisfy ALL the following eligibility/qualification requirements.

    • At least 8 years experience in the domain industry
    • Financial success and independence within an industry sector
    • Untarnished, impeccable reputation amongst peers
    • Proven track record in domain acquisitions and appraisals
    • At least $2 million in domain sales and/or purchases
    • Extensive, verifiable network
    • Complies with The Competency Rule requirements of USPAP

By understanding the history of the modern domain industry, one can extrapolate that only a select few fulfill the above requirements. And even then, they still undergo research and review by existing consultants and finally a full referendum on inclusion.

    2. PANEL REFERENDUM
Once candidate's eligibility has been confirmed they are subject to a Panel Referendum in which all panelists vote and approve or bring up objections about the individual and their background.

Prospects must receive unanimous approval to be accepted and designated a DomainConsultant panelist. The next step, needed in order to perform valuation, is appraisal certification by the single most successful business ma in the space.

    3. APPRAISER REVIEW/CERTIFICATION BY FRANK SCHILLING
schilling certifiedIn order to perform S&F Appraisals, all DC panelists must be reviewed, vetted and ultimately certified by industry giant Frank Schilling as an 'expert in domain valuation'.

To learn more about candidate certification and the extraordinary background of the certifier, please visit Panel Certification.

Bottom line is that by hiring Domain Consultant, you tap into the single best collection of minds the industry has produced to date plus the right set of standards and practices designed to bring integrity and standards to the domain valuation realm.
